Le Faubourg Restaurant is a spot of France in the German Capital of Berlin.The fully refurbished Le Faubourg restaurant situated at Augsburger Strasse is Headed up by Chef de Cuisine Felix Mielke, offering French cuisine with a twist. Traditional cooking is combined with modern techniques that can only described as French cuisine 4.0.
‘I love inspiring our guests with a truly unique concept,’ Felix says and it certainly does.
We opted for a selection of starters, We recommend to order the Ceviche of Beef ,rich tasting beef paired with the saltiness of the black garlic offers delicate contrast alongside the herbs asparagus and mushroom. The sweet potato starter was one of our favourite. Presentation is everything here and Mielke offered the taste to match.
With the main courses you can choose between traditional preparation methods or a modern interpretation of each dish. The menu, which follows the seasons, offers changing dishes at lunch that are in keeping with the new philosophy of the restaurant.
The Sommelier and staff here are exceptional and detailed. Le Faubourg offers an assortment of wines, which are carefully chosen to complement the chef’s creations. There is no doubt Le Faubourg offers Elegance in this young and vibrant city but brings the idea of new through its doors and in the food offering.
